- Read and follow the warning texts on the label carefully before use!
- Clean the surface of dirt, grease and rust.
- If necessary, treat the resulting corroded areas with presto Rust Stop.
- Fill and sand uneven surfaces.
- Thoroughly cover the area to be repaired with masking tape.
- Larger areas should also be covered at the creases and edges of the bodywork.
- Apply MoTip Filler or spray sealant to the finely sanded surface.
- First, sand the sealant layer with P600 sandpaper, then prepare the surface for finishing with MoTip filler or MoTip base.
- Wet sand thoroughly and smoothly the dried layer of sealant (P1000 sandpaper).
- Pre-treat plastic parts with MoTip plastic primer.
Painting:
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Shake the container thoroughly for 3 minutes before use. Test whEther the spray shade matches the original paint. Apply the paint from a distance of approximately 20-30 cm. Apply several thin coats at intervals of 3-5 minutes. Do not spray on surfaces treated with synthetic paint!
2-coat clearcoat:
Metallic paints should be treated with clearcoat 30 minutes after application. This prevents weathering and environmental influences from attacking the aluminium particles in the paint.
