Labar Acrylic Sealant 400 g

It is used for levelling uneven surfaces on wood, concrete, plaster, etc. The substrate must be dry, clean and degreased. The sealer is applied with a trowel, drying time is about 2 hours. The dry layer can be easily sanded. It can be diluted with water as required.

Application temperature:
the temperature of the compound, the environment and the substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C (preferably +8 and +25 °C) during application and within 24 hours (preferably 48 hours) after application.

Example of application procedure:

1. cover windows, radiators, door frames, etc.
2. before applying the sealant, it is necessary to remove any dry mass from the sealant pack.
3. layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion must be removed, e.g. by scraping.
4. for low-absorbent and/or extremely smooth substrates (plasterboard, plaster squeegees, cement-polymer squeegees, etc.), the priming coat should be applied with UP-GRUND, for more absorbent substrates (lime or lime-cement plaster, masonry, etc.) with A-GRUND, 100-GRUND or AT-GRUND according to the instructions for use.
5. after the primer has dried completely, TMEL ACRYLATE is applied with a stainless steel trowel (small areas with a steel spatula). The recommended thickness of one coat is 1 mm, the maximum thickness of one coat allowed is 2 mm.
6. the sealant is left to dry until completely dry (approx. 4 to 24 hours or even longer, drying time is strongly dependent on the thickness of the layers, substrate specificity, temperature and humidity).
7. after drying, it is advisable to sand the cemented areas with a sanding grid or a fine emery cloth with a firm backing.
8. if necessary, the sealant can be applied in additional layers and always re-sanded after drying. The total thickness of the layers should not exceed 4 mm to avoid the risk of cracking.
9. after sanding, it is necessary to remove any dust from the sanded surfaces.
10. work tools and dirty areas should be washed immediately with water.
11. it is recommended to re-prime the sealed areas with e.g. UP-GRUND, AGRUND, AT-GRUND or 100-GRUND before painting.
12. afterwards, dispersion coatings such as KLASIK, HETLINE or BRILLANT can be applied to the surfaces. It is not advisable to use lime coatings or coatings without a sufficient dispersion binder content on the sealed surfaces.

The sealant is non-flammable and non-toxic. If basic personal hygiene rules are observed, it does not endanger human health. In case of splashing, wash the skin with water, rinse the eye with clean water, in case of accidental ingestion induce vomiting.
