Unfortunately, today only a very small portion boasts vivid green colors, most stones do not reach such intensity. The raw material comes from the mines of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil.

In terms of composition, it is a rare green variety of potassium feldspar microcline, which contains a small amount of rubidium oxide.
