Fill the cat's litter box with a layer of litter about 4 cm high and spread it evenly on the bottom of the litter box. Remove solid excrements continuously with a scoop. Liquid excrements will change colour (yellow-ochre) at the point of use, which is a signal that the litter has fulfilled its function and at this point the litter can be removed with a scoop and replaced with new litter. However, it is recommended to replace the litter as a whole once after its expiry date. The duration of litter consumption is directly proportional to the size of the litter box, the number and age of the animals kept.
When changing from the original litter to Asan litter, it is preferable to initially put a small portion of the previously used litter on top of the Asan litter, due to the gradual and smooth habituation to the new material.
