Thoroughly clean and degrease the painted area with alcohol or detergent and allow to dry thoroughly. Shake or stir the bottle well. Test on an unseen area, as leather and leatherette may have been treated with various anti-fouling products or treatments and therefore the paint may not adhere well to the surface.
Apply the paint in a thin layer. Light shades will not cover a dark or heavily coloured surface, the substrate will show through. If you apply multiple coats, the film may crack easily.
When dry, it forms a flexible, waterproof film.
Wash the painted surface only with normal detergent or soap based cleaners. Do not use abrasive or chemical products.
If you impregnate the leather, test on a small piece.
