1) Preventive wood protection
The use, dilution, consumption and protection method are listed in the table. Before treatment, it is first necessary to remove bark, old paint and dirt from the surface of the wood.

2) Preventive masonry protection
Bochemit QB colourless is diluted with Water in a ratio of 1:9. Dry masonry is treated with a one-time coating or spraying. After drying, the wall can be repainted with a common painter's paint. Mould-infested masonry must first be treated with Savo anti-mould.

3) Rehabilitation of masonry infested with woodworm
The plaster of masonry infested with woodworm is first treated with Savo anti-mould. The affected plaster is completely removed and the masonry is left to dry thoroughly. After the masonry dries out, grouting is necessary. The joints of the wall are staggered at a spacing of max. 250 mm (slope min. 30° into the interior of the masonry) drill holes with a diameter of 8-15 mm and a depth of min. 2/3 of the thickness of the masonry, which is filled with Bochemite QB colorless diluted with Water in a ratio of 1:9 (the filling is soaked in min. 2x refills). Preventive masonry protection is then carried out.

Lifetime of the protection:

• hazard class 1 to 2 (interior): unlimited in time (regular inspection)
• Hazard class 3 (exterior): without covering paint min. 5 years (subsequently it is necessary to check and maintain the protection)
