The tradition of the Italian brand Borotalco dates back to 1878 and was founded by the English pharmacist Henry Roberts, who worked intensively on the development of various active ingredients in his small pharmacy in Florence.

Borotalco products contain a micronized powder of pure natural talc with an unmistakable characteristic scent. The powder is extracted from the talc by a special process that results in an extremely fine Microtalcum powder, which leads to optimal absorption properties. Microtalcum is also the cause of the unique scent of these deodorants.

The first product was the body powder in 1904. This fine natural talcum powder is of incomparably high quality. Its absorbent, refreshing and softening properties offer a wide range of uses for the skin of adults and children. It is also perfectly suited for sensitive skin, as this fine natural powder allows the pores to breathe. Over the following years, other products were launched on the market, including soaps, shower gels, bath foams and, last but not least, deodorants.
