The top of this remarkable perfume consists of jasmine and neroli, the heart features ylang-ylang and rose, and in the base, you will detect sandalwood with vanilla. After an hour, the sharp edges soften and the fragrance unfolds into delicate flowers on a vanilla backdrop. Neroli (bitter orange blossom, Citrus aurantium ssp. amara) has a fresh floral scent with a bitter tinge. Kananga is a medium-sized shrub that grows in the tropical regions of Asia, especially in the Philippines, Comoros, and Indonesia. It has beautifully fragrant small yellow flowers that resemble a starfish. The delicate white flowers are used to obtain one of the most important essential oils, and even the smallest amounts of this strongly scented oil add smoothness and energy to soft fragrances, which are extremely significant properties for them.

The fragrance was launched in 1921.

N°5 has the magical power to envelop a woman in elegance and refinement. Whenever she wears this symbol of femininity, she expresses a seductive moment. Arguably the most famous perfume, it was inducted into the hall of fame of FiFi in 1987. In 1987, the fragrance N°5 from Chanel entered the hall of fame of the FiFi organization (The Fragrance Foundation)

Chanel No. 5 is an icon! It probably doesn't even need an introduction. The most legendary, beloved, best-selling perfume of all time! If you haven't grown fond of it yet, trust that you will eventually succumb to its charm, because it is a legend for a reason.

Coco Chanel created this perfume as her very first in collaboration with chemist Ernest Beaux, whose ancestors were responsible for producing perfumes at the imperial court in Russia. The perfume is composed of more than 80 ingredients, which was truly a revolutionary achievement for its time. The main ingredients include jasmine, rose, iris, ylang ylang, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood.
The name of the perfume, “number five”, allegedly comes from the childhood of the very Coco, which she spent at an orphanage in Aubazine, founded by the Cistercian order, which places great emphasis on numerology. Coco Chanel adopted the symbolism of this number and thus named her first perfume. In any case, everyone knows this name today! When perfume is mentioned, most of us immediately think of “Chanel No. 5”. This “best perfume in the world” was adored by the sexiest woman in the world – Marilyn Monroe, and was promoted by Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman, and Audrey Tautou.

The crowned king of the perfume kingdom, which not all ladies acknowledge. Chanel N°5 is not an everyday fragrance for casual wear. N°5 is suitable for occasions, it is a filigree jewel. Chanel number five could be characterized as a timeless pearl, pure and full of femininity. It is more of a matter of middle age, rather than a perfume for teenage girls. Its scent is captivating, dominant and initially very heavy.

Even the bottle evokes a mysterious refinment hidden inside. Chanel N°5 stands out. It is an exclusive affair, not a mass-market fragrance.
