The head of this remarkable perfume consists of jasmine and neroli, the heart of ylang-ylang and rose, and in the base, you will sense sandalwood with vanilla. After an hour, the sharp edges soften, and the scent unfolds into delicate flowers against a vanilla background. Neroli (bitter orange flower essence, Citrus aurantium ssp. amara) has a fresh floral scent with a hint of bitterness. Cananga is a medium-sized shrub that grows in tropical areas of Asia, particularly in the Philippines, Comoros, and Indonesia. It has beautifully fragrant small yellow flowers, shaped like a sea star. Delicate white flowers from which one of the most important essential oils is obtained. Even the smallest amount of this strongly scented oil adds smoothness and energy to delicate scents, qualities that are exceedingly significant for them.

The fragrance was launched in 1921.

N°5 has the magical power to envelop a woman in elegance and refinement. Whenever she wears this symbol of femininity, she expresses a seductive moment. Arguably the most famous fragrance, it was inducted into the Hall of Fame of FiFi in 1987. In 1987, the fragrance N°5 by Chanel entered the Hall of Fame of FiFi (The Fragrance Foundation)

Chanel No. 5 is an icon! It hardly needs an introduction. The most legendary, most loved, best-selling fragrance of all time! If you haven't discovered its charm yet, you will fall for its magic over time, because it isn't a legend for no reason.

Coco Chanel created this fragrance as her very first in collaboration with chemist Ernest Beaux, whose ancestors were responsible for making perfumes at the tsar’s court in Russia. The perfume consists of a composition of more than 80 ingredients, which was truly a revolutionary feat at the time of its inception. Key ingredients include jasmine, rose, iris, ylang ylang, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood.
The name of the perfume, “number five”, supposedly comes from Coco's childhood, which she spent in an orphanage in Auburn, founded by a Cistercian order, which places great emphasis on numerology. Coco Chanel also embraced the symbolism of this number and thus named her first perfume.
In any case, this name is known by everyone today! When we say perfume, most of us automatically think of “Chanel No. 5”. This “best perfume in the world” was also adored by the most sexy woman in the world – Marilyn Monroe, and has been promoted by Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman, and Audrey Tautou.

Crowned king of the perfume kingdom, which not all ladies recognize. Chanel N°5 is not a completely common scent for everyday wear. N°5 is suitable for social events, it is a filigree gem. Chanel number five could be characterized as a timeless pearl, pure, full of femininity. It is more of a matter for middle age than a perfume for teenage girls. Its scent is captivating, dominant and initially very heavy.

Even the bottle evokes mysterious refinement hidden within. Chanel N°5 stands out. It is an exclusive affair, not a mass-market fragrance.
