Before using yarrow ointment, it is recommended to wash the skin with soap-free Water and dry it well. the ointment is applied in a thin layer - so as not to clog the pores. we use yarrow ointment 2-3 times a day or according to the current need. Gently rub it into the skin for 2 to 3 minutes. Proper application of ointments helps to increase their subsequent effect.
Yarrow ointment very well tightens, cleanses, regenerates and softens the skin. Therefore, the ointment is perfect for the care of cracked skin, e.g. for deeply cracked heels or hands. Thanks to the active substances of yarrow, the ointment is widely used in the care of various non-healing wounds or insect bites. Yarrow ointment is excellent for external care of anal areas (e.g. for non-bleeding or incipient haemorrhoids).
The quality of the ointment is guaranteed by the balanced composition of Herbs.
Pork fat, Beeswax, yarrow, calendula, Thyme, alder, yerlina japonica, oak, perfume (blend of natural essential oils). (Adeps Suillus, Cera Alba, Achillea millefolium Extract, Calendula officinalis Flower Extract, Thymus vulgaris Extract, Alnus glutinosa Extract, Sophora japonica Bud Extract, Quercus Robus Bark Extract, Lavandula angustifolia Oil, Pelargonium graveolens Flower Oil).
The herbal base of yarrow ointment is yarrow (Achillea millefolium). The Latin name of the plant is derived from the mythical Greek hero Achilles, as this herb was supposedly used to heal wounds during the Trojan Wars. Yarrow blooms from June to October and its flowers, leaves and stems are used in herbalism.
The active substances contained in yarrow include essential oils, isovaleric acid, Salicylic Acid, asparagine, Sterols, flavonoids, tannins, Coumarins, bitter acids and tannins. Yarrow is characterized by its anti-inflammatory effects and its ability to promote wound healing.
Theointment base consists of uncooked purified pork fat, which is Extracted with hot steam. It has excellent lubricating properties, its composition resembles human fat and at the same time it is a quality carrier of medicinal substances contained in Herbs. For these reasons, purified lard is still the ideal base for ointments, although today some companies prefer synthetic bases.
Yarrow ointment is enriched with genuine Beeswax. It has excellent protective and moisturizing properties and increases the overall quality of the ointment.
Yarrow ointment does not contain artificial colours. It is recommended to store yarrow ointment at a temperature of 5 to 25 °C.
