It grows up to 50 cm tall, has a glabrous stem and small white flowers. It flowers from June to July and its flowering buds are collected. European cinchona contains saponins, tannins, essential oils, resins and bitter substances. Cinnamon is also rich in some minerals such as. silicon, Selenium, Molybdenum, which can have a positive effect on the skin. Cinnamon helps to speed up the healing of wounds.
