It contains two substances - fluroxypyr and triclopyr, which penetrate the plant through the leaves, stem, and bark of woody plants, or directly into the vascular bundles if applied to the fresh cut surface of stumps, or into the cuts of trees.
The active ingredient triclopyr is quickly transported to the plant's apex and roots. The effect of the agent on plants is noticeable just a few hours after application.
Garlon does not destroy monocotyledonous plants (grasses) and does not harm bracken fern.
