FFP 2 - Filtration efficiency min. 94%, min. allowed total efficiency 92%. Provides protection against medium toxic substances, dust, biological substances and liquid aerosols. They are used for protection during hazardous work such as working with chemicals, etc., but are also effective in fighting Covid-19. These masks are certified by an approved certified company and are absolutely fine in this respect.

1) Wash your hands thoroughly before putting on the respirator.
2) Put the respirator up to your nose, hold it with one hand, and put the rubber bands behind your ears or over your head with the other. The respirator must fit along your cheeks and under your chin.
3) After 8 hours, replace the respirator with a new one.
4) If you put the respirator on and off repeatedly, always hold the rubber bands and do not touch the respirator itself.
5) Place the used respirator in a plastic bag, which you can seal and then dispose of in the trash.

According to current regulations, FFP masks are subject to personal protective equipment and serve primarily to protect the wearer from particles, droplets and aerosols. Made in China

The FFP2 masks have, of course, the required CE mark. This indicates that the FFP masks have passed a successful verification procedure (the so-called conformity assessment procedure). As with medical products, manufacturers prove that their products meet all the requirements of the relevant laws and standards. Only then can the masks be legally distributed in Europe.

The conformity assessment procedure involves a so-called "type test" according to the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. This test is carried out by notified bodies (e.g. TÜV, DEKRA). The manufacturer can then print the CE mark on their masks and sell them legally. The CE mark bears the four-digit number of the participating notified body. The test number is shown both on the FFP masks and on the aluminium packaging, together with the CE mark and other information!
