Brush your teeth at least twice a day after meals with a good quality toothbrush and plenty of toothpaste. Place the toothbrush against the gums at a 45-degree angle. Use small vibrating movements to wipe away debris from the root to the crown of the teeth. Do not forget to clean the inside of the teeth and the biting surfaces of the molars.
Replace the toothbrush as soon as it shows signs of wear, but no later than after three months of use. For healthy teeth and gums, use a toothbrush with straight-cut bristles - fine or very fine. Don't forget to visit your dentist regularly every six months and have preventive treatment with a dental hygienist.
