During the application of the product to the tick, the tick is immediately immobilized without triggering any defensive reactions of the tick.
- After unscrewing the cap, gently press the opening of the Ixoderm tube up to the tick and apply 1-3 drops of the product to the tick spontaneously, or by pressing the tube very gently, so that the tick is completely covered by the product.
- After about 2-5 minutes (depending on the amount of product used), clean the partially dried product and safely remove the tick with tweezers placed as close as possible to the tick's legs or in another suitable way. The movement when removing the tick is rocking, not rotating.
- After removing the tick, we can drip 1 more drop of the product on the affected area.
- It is recommended to monitor the skin for 1 month to see if there is any redness on the skin where the tick was attached, which may gradually spread (in this case you should seek medical attention immediately).
