Do not sprinkle the powder directly on the baby's skin, but first sprinkle it on your hands and then gently swipe it over the skin in areas that can become inflamed - i.e. the neck, armpits and bottom. Also, avoid handling the powder in close proximity to the baby so that it cannot be inhaled. Apply to clean, dry skin.
