Universal oil putty designed for sealing and securing sheet glass into wooden and metal frames. The putty exhibits very good adhesion and extensibility during application. It is available in two shades and various packaging. The putty can be painted over with common paints after the surface has dried.
The wooden frame must be cleaned of all mechanical impurities before glazing and must be treated and painted with a primer. The putty is applied in a thin layer into the rabbet, and the glass panel is placed so that it adheres across the entire surface. The glass is secured with glazier points and the putty is pressed into the rabbet using a glazier's knife. After filling the rabbet, the surface of the putty is smoothed with a knife.
Final finish: common paints for wood and metal.
