Colourless, or grey-white or blue-grey with a strong blue-green colour change, called iridescence. When you look at it, you will certainly think of the colourful feathers of peacocks. It is named after the Labrador peninsula in Canada, where it was discovered in the 18th century. In Europe, you can find it in Finland, where it comes from, for example, called spectrolite (the trade name for labradorite), but Madagascar is currently considered the main source of raw and worked labradorite. Our raw material comes from there.
In terms of composition, it is a type of soda-lime feldspar plagioclase.
