Under the MOONSTONE, a.k.a. MOONSTONE, there is a milky, cloudy variety of Potassium feldspar adular (or.sanidine, more rarely also albite). It can be found especially in Sri Lanka, where it has become the national stone. Our offered piece comes from India.
Uniqueness of the stone: the stone is unique for its subtle rocking sparkle, which is intensified by the correct orientation of the stone when cut. It is colourless, white, slightly Orange or blue-grey, usually translucent.
