The main difference of apatite is certainly its color heterogeneity. This mineral shades all the way from colorless to white, yellow, pink, gray, green, blue or purple and brown. Because of such a range of colors, mineralogists have confused apatite with other minerals. Even its name, which comes from the Greek word apatein, means to deceive or be misleading. Blue apatite boasts a charming blue color, often transitioning to turquoise. The stone usually has a granular appearance and is not easy to extract. Our raw material comes from Madagascar.

If we look at its chemical structure, blue apatite is the most abundant natural phosphate.
