A mineral that is an amorphous silica with a high water content in terms of composition. Opals are very sensitive to environmental changes. When heated above 200 °C they lose water and can be degraded. The offered stones come from Brazil.

Uniqueness of the stone: opals are most often milky white to brownish in colour, opaque, and very often contain black bushy formations made of manganese oxides. Dark to black shades predominate in black dendritic opal.

Restriction: do not expose the stone to direct sunlight, there is a risk of loss of brilliance. In extreme cases, cracking can occur.

put on last, after dressing and applying all cosmetics, take off first. Put on and take off carefully by rolling over the arm, not by stretching!
