Primacol Decorative Royal Silk washable decorative paint with gloss, R0 base silver

Very high-quality paint for interior application, which resembles the surface of silk fabric in its structure. Due to the presence of pearlescent fillers, sparkling reflections form on the decorated surface that change according to the angle of incident light. The paint is available in a color palette and in a base form for coloring, e.g. with Primacol decorative colorants. Once dry, it creates a durable, washable surface.

Substrate:

It is intended for use on cement, cement-lime substrates, plasterboard, and on pre-painted surfaces. The substrate must be clean from dirt and dust, degreased, flat, dry, solid, and uncracked. Residues of paint, wallpaper, and unstable plasters must be removed, and unevenness should be filled. Fresh cement and cement-lime plasters must dry for at least 4 weeks.

Application method:

Attention! The application of the product must be carried out by a person experienced in applying such types of materials. Before starting the actual application, it is recommended to first test on a small sample area to familiarize yourself with the application technique and ensure how the final appearance will look. The manufacturer is not responsible for improper use of the product. For the implementation of the entire surface, it is recommended to use products from the same production batch. Otherwise, the contents of all packages should be mixed in one container.

The color displayed on the packaging may differ from the actual color due to printing options and cannot be a reason for a complaint. To accurately determine the color, please ask the seller for a sample with actual coatings.

To reduce paint consumption, it is recommended to first paint the substrate with Decobase in a shade approximately matching the final color (information about the Decobase color number can be found on the lid). On the dry surface, apply a layer of Royal Silk paint using a Venetian trowel. Perform this task on smaller areas and in various directions while gradually covering the entire surface. The thickness of the applied layer should not exceed 1 mm. During the drying of the decoration, smooth the surface with the edge of a clean trowel by moving in various directions. With this technique, you will achieve metallic reflections.

If necessary, after drying (about 4 hours), apply a second coat and proceed similarly to the first layer. After using the product, ventilate the room until the smell disappears. The surface will achieve its full strength characteristics after 28 days.

Store the product in an airtight original container at a temperature of 5-25 °C in a place inaccessible to children. Do not expose to sunlight. Protect from frost. The product is treated with a biocide. May cause an allergic reaction.
