Procedure for casting lead: to use the Christmas lead casting kit, you will need a container (not plastic) of cold Water (low Water column) into which you will cast the molten lead. Heat one lead motif in the casting pan included in the product package, observing the safety warnings, and pour the molten lead into a container of cold Water. Melting lead is possible on both gas and electric stoves. During the actual casting, concentrate on the work as much as possible and follow all instructions and warnings contained in this manual.
You can guess what you're in for by the shapes the lead has solidified into in the cold Water. Of course, your own imagination plays a big role in this traditional Christmas activity. Casts are like clouds - everyone can see something a little different in them. The lead casting kit can be used repeatedly. To ensure this, simply place the castings inside the kit packaging when the activity is complete and the lead has cooled, or place the lead back into the pan, re-melt it and leave it in the pan in a suitable place to cool. Make sure that this area is out of reach of children and has a non-flammable surface.

Use the product only for the purposes described in these instructions for use. Always place only one lead motif in the pan.the Christmas Lead Casting Kit is not a toy and must not be used by children or unfit persons. Make sure that there are no objects in the immediate vicinity of the cooker or burner on which you will be melting the lead and that you have sufficient clear working space around the container into which you will be pouring the hot lead. This avoids the risk of the hot lead pan getting caught in the handling and splashing yourself or bystanders with hot lead, which could cause serious burns. Do not touch hot parts, use handles to handle the pan. It is recommended to wear special protective work gloves designed for contact with hot objects. It is recommended to wear safety glasses when melting lead and its subsequent casting. If you are working with the product in the presence of children or incapacitated persons, always take extra care to ensure that this is not in the immediate vicinity of the cooker or burner on which you are melting the lead. Maximum care should be taken especially when handling the pan with molten lead. Avoid using non-original lead fragments or items.

The product must not be used during use, i.e. during the melting of lead, the preparation of lead for reuse, and always left unsupervised by an adult until the melting pan has cooled completely. Do not place non-flammable or easily ignitable surfaces on the pan after casting lead. Always use a suitable pad to prevent damage to other objects or furniture from the hot surface of the pan. Choose a good place to put it away where there is no risk of burning bystanders. Always wait for the melting pan to cool completely before handling it again after use. As lead is toxic, the container used for casting lead must no longer be used for food and drink preparation. Store the product in a suitable dry place and keep out of reach of children and unfit persons. Wash your hands after work, do not eat or drink while working Do not leave lead on a heat source for too long, once melted, transfer it to a container of Water as soon as possible. The heating temperature of lead coins should not exceed 600°C. At higher temperatures, harmful substances may be partially released. The melting point of lead is: 327°C!
