use
  • The first time you use the thermometer, set the date and time on the thermometer.
  • Turn on the thermometer. The thermometer signals readiness for use with an audible signal.
  • Point the thermometer at your forehead 2-3 cm away and then press the START button.
  • Wait until you hear the final beep.
  • The clear display shows the measured temperature.
  • It is recommended to wait 3 seconds for repeated measurements.
  • Press the button to switch off the thermometer. If you leave the thermometer idle for more than 1 minute, it will switch off automatically.
  • To measure the temperature of an object, select the object measurement mode after switching on. Bring the thermometer to a distance of 1-2 cm to the centre of the object to be measured and press the START button.

Instructions for reliable temperature measurement

  • Before measuring the temperature, the person being measured should not eat or drink, be physically active, including activities such as bathing, showering, washing and drying hair. The hat or cap should be removed from the head and waited 10 minutes.
  • Oils or cosmetics on the forehead may show a lower temperature than the actual temperature. Sweat on the forehead or dirt may affect the reading. Wait at least 10 minutes after washing the forehead.
  • Do not measure temperature on scar tissue, open wounds or abrasions.
  • Do not take measurements during or immediately after breastfeeding.
  • Do not use this thermometer outdoors.
  • Do not use the thermometer near places where it is hot, such as fireplaces and stoves.
  • The probe sensor of the thermometer is the most sensitive part of the device. Do not touch this sensor. The accuracy of the measurement may be affected if the probe sensor is damaged or dirty.
  • Strong electromagnetic fields may interfere with the proper operation of the thermometer.
  • After use, place the thermometer back in its original packaging.
  • Store the thermometer in a dry, dust-free place and out of direct sunlight.

This thermometer is intended for home use only. Never immerse the thermometer in Water or other liquids (it is not Waterproof). Do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures (below -25 °C/-13 °F or above 55 °C/131 °F) or excessive humidity (95% RH). Remove the battery from the device when it is not in use for an extended period of time. Keep the probe sensor clean and dry at all times for accurate measurements. Do not allow children to use this thermometer without adult supervision; some parts are small enough to be swallowed. Keep the battery out of the reach of children!
