Sodalite tends to be light to dark blue, or blue-grey, often accompanied by white veins. In any case, it does not lack lustre - glassy to oily shiny. Its frequent occurrence is Namibia, Canada and Brazil. The stone we offer comes from Namibia.

In terms of composition, it is sodium aluminosilicate with chlorine.
