Prepare about 30 cm of thread for one use and wrap it around the middle fingers of each hand. The thread is fastened between the thumb and forefinger of each hand so that the taut thread between the fingers is about 5 cm long. The thread is gently inserted between the teeth in a sawing motion. Never use a front-to-back motion - you could injure your gums unpleasantly. When the tooth is cleaned always use a new piece of floss and continue.
