Synthetic PES - polyester:
Polyester fibers are used to produce disposable rollers. It is the least quality material and its use is not recommended for applying high-quality interior paints. It is characterized by low yield on m². Polyester rollers with short or long nap are mainly used for water-based paints. High resistance to light, weather, and microorganisms. Natural polyester has been known since about 1830, and the first synthetic polyester was used in World War I as an impregnating material. The fiber made from synthetic polyester was invented in England in 1941 and has been produced industrially since 1947.
