A mineral representing sodium aluminosilicate with chlorine. It forms irregular grains and granular aggregates, rarely also well-limited crystals. Sodalite is used for the production of exclusive tiles and gigantic interior sculptures in addition to jewellery. The stone we offer comes from Namibia.
Uniqueness of the stone.
Limitations: Sodalite is a brittle and fissile stone, and resists some acids. We recommend consulting the limitations or proceeding as with the feldspar group.
