Artist Susan Lordi on her products: Willow Tree is an intimate, personal line of hand-carved figures. Each one represents a quality or sentiment that helps us appreciate those around us, heal the hurting, or discover the beauty of the world around us. I have used only gestures to express emotion ... the tilt of the head, the placement of the hand, or the twist of the body. Each of the figures comes from my original wood carving. I hope the simplicity of these figures conveys peace and serenity not only for you, but for those you love.
