Health-safe, intended for food purposes. If you want to keep the food warm (for example, if you want to leave it in the oven longer), the shiny side should face outwards. When you cook food in a hurry, the matte side should face out. The shiny side simply reflects the heat and the matte side lets it in.

Annual production of cellophane in 2003 was 880 000 tonnes in Europe and about 660 000 tonnes in the United States.Approximately 75% of production is used as packaging material for food, cosmetics and cheMicals. The remaining quarter will be employed in industry (e.g. thermal insulation, cables and electronics). Aluminum foil rolls are also produced for use in households - these are then used for baking or for wrapping foods with a tendency to leak grease. Aluminum foil used as a packaging material is most often made from downcycled aluminum, e.g. from beverage cartons, etc. It is also used for making hookah. Alobal is a non-magnetic substance.
