BALbio pond cleaner, 100 g

Balbio, pond cleaner, is again a bacterial preparation that eliminates organic sediment at the bottom of the pond and also organic impurities in the water column thanks to its content. The organic impurities in the pond can be understood as fallen leaves from the surrounding vegetation, dead parts of aquatic plants, or the excrement of aquatic animals. These impurities undergo putrefactive processes, releasing nutrients for algae. The BalBio product – pond cleaner thus prevents the supply of nutrients to algae and ensures their demise, while subsequently microorganisms will also eliminate this organic waste.

With regular application, we ensure a beautifully clean and clear pond or fishery. With this product, as with the septic tank product, we encounter the notion that our pond will freeze in winter and therefore there is no need to treat the water in any way. The opposite is true. Most ponds where people keep fish are deep enough that the water does not freeze completely in winter. In this case, we highly recommend the application of this product even in winter, when the water is most burdened with organic impurities from the surrounding vegetation.

Microorganisms in water at a temperature around 4 °C work more slowly but are still capable of eliminating impurities accumulated from the autumn period during winter. Due to its composition, it does not harm aquatic animals or plants.
