BALbio Pond Cleaner, 100 g

Bacterial preparation Balbio – pond cleaner effectively removes organic sediments from the bottom and also eliminates impurities dispersed in the water column. Organic pollution in the reservoir mainly includes fallen leaves from surrounding greenery, dead parts of aquatic plants, or animal excrement. These residues decompose, releasing nutrients that promote algae growth. The BalBio – pond cleaner prevents the influx of these nutrients, leading to the death of algae, and the contained microorganisms subsequently eliminate any resulting organic waste.

With regular use, you will achieve clean and clear water in the pond or fish pond. A common misconception is that the reservoir freezes entirely during winter, and therefore there is no need to treat the water in any way. However, the reality is different – most fish ponds have sufficient depth to prevent freezing to the bottom. For this reason, we strongly recommend applying the preparation even during winter when the water is heavily burdened with organic debris from the surrounding vegetation.

In water with a temperature around 4 °C, microorganisms do work at a slower pace, yet they can still break down impurities accumulated from autumn during winter. The preparation is safe for aquatic plants and animals due to its gentle composition.
