BALbio Pond Cleaner, 100 g

Balbio, pond cleaner, is again a bacterial product that, thanks to its content, eliminates organic sediment at the bottom of the pond and also organic impurities in the water column. By organic impurities in the pond, we can understand the fall of leaves from surrounding vegetation, dead parts of aquatic plants, or also the excretions of aquatic animals. These impurities undergo putrefactive processes, during which nutrients are released for algae. The BalBio – pond cleaner thus prevents the supply of nutrients to algae, ensuring their demise, while subsequently microorganisms will also eliminate this organic waste.

By regular application, we ensure a beautifully clean and clear pond or lagoon. With this product, just like with the products for septic tanks, we encounter the idea that our pond will freeze in winter and therefore there is no need to treat the water in any way. The opposite is true. Most ponds where people keep fish are deep enough that the water does not freeze completely in winter. In this case, we highly recommend applying this product even in winter, when the water is most burdened with organic impurities from the fall of surrounding vegetation.

Microorganisms in water, whose temperature is around 4 °C, work slower, but they are capable of eliminating impurities accumulated from the autumn period in winter. Due to its composition, it does not harm aquatic animals or plants.
