Pitmaster Marabu is restaurant-quality charcoal from Cuba. Marabu is a type of hardwood that grows in Cuba. This unique charcoal is characterized by a hard and dense wood structure, which allows you to achieve high temperatures and long burn times. Due to sorting, the charcoal is suitable for any type of grilling. Premium MARABU charcoal is medium-sized, relatively uniform in size (30-200 mm).
Marabu delivers a mild smoky aroma that is not as strong as the aroma of Quebracho charcoal. The charcoal is produced under the values of the German standard DIN with approximately 80% carbon content. The residue after burning is ash. The less ash, the higher the carbon content in the product. With a low ash content of approximately 4%, this means a pure charcoal product.
