Alkyton is a high-quality rust-proof paint, a self-priming anti-corrosive paint based on alkyd resins. The Alkyton coating has excellent flexibility, impact resistance, and good drying characteristics. Alkyton paint covers in one coat across the entire spectrum of available shades. Effective anti-corrosive pigments provide long-lasting anti-corrosive protection. The product has very good adhesion even to corroded surfaces after manual cleaning.

Hammer finish due to its surface structure, optically levels the unevenness of the substrate. In case of application at low temperatures (stiff paint), or conversely at higher temperatures (evaporation of solvents), it is advisable to dilute the paint slightly. WARNING! Dilution affects the thickness of the achieved layer. In case of dilution, rather calculate with 3 coatings for high anti-corrosive resistance. With Hammer paint, dilution affects the size of the hammer effect and the resulting gloss. The more thinner, the larger the hammer effect cells, the smaller the resulting thickness of the coating, and the lower its gloss. Too thick paint may then suppress the hammer effect. The same result may be caused by excessive spreading of the hammer paint (insufficient thickness).
