The paper application film and the top layer of Hydrocoll allow easy handling and hygienic application. An indication for replacement is the formation of a blister and visible discoloration of the covering. When removing the covering from the wound, gently pull the edge and then slowly lift. The wound should be rinsed of the lubricating gel, preferably with a shower, after removing the covering.

It can also be used on colonized wounds because the slightly acidic environment creates unfavorable conditions for bacterial growth and binds bacteria and dead cell debris in its gel structure.Not suitable for infected wounds.
