Uses of Het Klasic Color:

For indoor wall and ceiling coatings, lime, lime-cement, gypsum-lime and gypsum plasters, drywall, fiberboard and wood fiber boards, plasters with acrylic binder, restoration plasters (meets the requirements of the WTA CZ directive No. 2-9-04/D, table 4 limiting the use of covering layers on restoration plasters regarding permeability for water vapor), concrete panels and monoliths, specially designated paper wallpapers, fiberglass wallpapers, etc. Also suitable for application on substrates combining, e.g., mineral plasters and drywall. The product meets the requirements for coatings on surfaces that may come into indirect and direct incidental contact with food. The coating creates a matte, highly vapor-permeable surface that is resistant to standard humidity in rooms and abrasion by dry materials.

The coated surface must not be in constant contact with water and must not be exposed to condensing moisture. The dried coating can briefly withstand temperatures around 70 °C. The paint is suitable for painting residential and commercial spaces, children's rooms, dining rooms, hallways, offices, sales areas, etc.

Paint yield of Het Klasic Color:
6 – 10 m²/kg in one coat depending on the absorbency and structure of the substrate and the thickness of the applied layer.

Application of Het Klasic Color paint:
Recommended application – using paint rollers (perlon, polyacrylic, polyamide), brush; small areas - brush; large area application – spraying AIRLESS, HVLP. When spraying, it is advisable to conduct tests on specific equipment in advance.

Substrate:
Dry, cohesive, free from dirt and biological infestation (molds, algae), non-salted, non-greasy, free from formwork oils, chemically stable, matured (pH ≤8.5; control can be done with a pH tester).

Application temperature:
The temperature of the material, environment, and substrate must be between +5 and +30 °C during application and for 24 hours after application.

Application procedure:

1. A priming coat is applied with paint diluted with a maximum of 0.3 liters of water per 1 kg of paint, or using a primer A-GRUND or AT-GRUND, in the case of drywall and other low-absorbent or extremely smooth substrates, using the UP-GRUND primer. If the substrate is a non-dusty, low-absorbent original coating film, priming is not necessary. Layers of old coatings with insufficient adhesion are recommended to be scraped off.
2. After the priming coat has dried, apply 1–2 coats of covering paint diluted with a maximum of 0.1 liters of water per 1 kg of paint. For new or distinctly different substrates, more covering coats may be needed.
