LAZUROL IMPREGNATING OIL based on linseed oil is intended for the treatment of soft and hard woods exposed to weather conditions as well as for coatings in interiors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The oil is intended for the treatment of soft and hard woods exposed to weather conditions as well as for coatings in interiors, such as garden furniture and wooden elements. It revitalizes the wood surface, gives it a silky shine, and increases resistance to water and dirt.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with increased resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood surface finish and also the overall longevity of the coating system.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 6 - 10 m²/1 liter for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

It is applied after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the non-absorbed glaze after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth. If a second coat is needed, it should be applied after the first coat has dried, using the same procedure.

Warning:

The type and surface of the wood affect the resulting shade of the finish. If this product is used to treat wood with high tannin content (acacia, oak, larch), it is necessary to first perform a test coat. Due to the high tannin content, there may be slow drying, subsequent leaching of tannins, and overall impact on the appearance of the film. Stackability and the inter-coat adhesion of the painted surfaces must be tested under specific conditions (climatic conditions, layer thickness, number of coats, shape of the substrate, type of substrate, etc.).

Absorbent materials (rags, wood shavings, papers, dust, etc.) soaked in oil must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain conditions.
