Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 2.5 + 0.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and emphasizes its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with an appropriate fungicidal primer that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is best treated first with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless primer ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before applying the coatings. It is then necessary to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper and only then apply the impregnation stain. When renovating, it is necessary to remove the old, non-adhering layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORK PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted as it is already at application viscosity. During the work, the staining varnish must be regularly stirred. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only with colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed varnish after 10 to 15 minutes using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, a test coating is recommended before the final application. Complaints regarding color shades will be acknowledged only with a complaint about the test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to coat the dried finish made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or natural shade LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be coated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
