Thin-layer wood stain Lazurol Topdecor S1035 is intended for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to the whims of the weather and for use indoors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). This wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deep into the wood and highlights its natural structure. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings maintain color stability, do not crack, and can be easily renewed. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of a maximum of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the paint system.

The surface of the wood intended for exterior use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interior use is best first treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with clear impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before the application of paint substances. Subsequently, it is essential to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper and only then apply the impregnating stain. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at the application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer should be regularly stirred. For indoor use, 1 to 2 coats are applied, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for coatings indoors. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform enhancement of the wood grain, any excess stain should be wiped off with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

For complete surfaces, always choose material from the same production batch to ensure identical color shade. The final tone of the coating is affected by the type, surface, and previous treatment of the wood, so it is recommended to test the application on a sample before the final coating. Any complaints about color shades can only be acknowledged if they are assessed at the test site.

To achieve a high gloss, the dried surface treated with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the lacquer LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floor surfaces can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with lacquer must be disposed of safely as they can self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
