Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T064 beech, 4.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oils, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the structure of the wood and highlights its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from any resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be freed from all resin exudates, for example, by rinsing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal primer that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or a natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration of the colorless primer ensures even absorbency of the substrate before applying the coating materials. The wood surface must then be lightly sanded before applying the stain. In renovation coatings, the wood should be stripped of the old, non-adhering layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per one layer depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thoroughly mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the stain should be regularly mixed. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For an even accentuation of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes from application with a dry brush or cloth.

For uniform areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating; therefore, we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted if based on a tested area.

For a high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be topped with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be topped with LAZUROL OUTDOOR FOOT TRAFFIC VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
