CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The lacquer is used to create a transparent coating on wood or metal, especially on vertical or sloped surfaces, such as wall cladding and soffits. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. In a resting state, the lacquer forms a thick, almost solid gel, which breaks up during mixing or painting, making the coating material easy to spread. After painting or mixing, it returns to a gel state. Therefore, it does not drip from the brush or vertical surfaces. It is applied exclusively with a brush. The lacquer is available in both glossy and matte variants.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely free of resin exudates, for example, by washing with solvent C 6000. The quality of the wood's pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish as well as the overall durability of the coating system. The surface of the wood must first be treated with a suitable impregnating agent that ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate and higher protection of the wood (if using a fungicidal impregnator, protection against mold, fungi, and insects). Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the synthetic lacquer.

The metal substrate for application must be clean, dry, free from grease, rust, and dust, mechanically cleaned.

When renovating coatings, it is necessary to remove old non-adhering coatings from the wood and ensure good substrate adhesion (if completely removing the old coating, the new coating is applied gradually, including impregnating the wood). It is recommended to follow the entire coating system according to the manufacturer's data sheet.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 8-12 m²/ l for one layer

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Undiluted lacquer is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on pre-prepared substrate. Especially for shade 0001 - matt, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the matting additive homogeneously throughout the entire volume.
1.  1x treatment with LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 (interior) or fungicidal impregnator LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033 (exterior), application 100-150 g/m2, drying time 24 hours. After drying, lightly sand with sandpaper No. 100.
2.  1x coat with LAZUROL TIXOTROPIC LACQUER S 1091 in an optimal dry film thickness of 35 - 40µm, drying time 24 hours. After drying, lightly sand with sandpaper No. 220.
3. 1x coat with LAZUROL TIXOTROPIC LACQUER S1091, optimal dry film thickness 35 - 40µm, drying time 24 hours.
