LAZUROL AQUA S AKRYL is a water-based wood lacquer with a decorative appearance and excellent flow. It is used for coating hard and soft wood, furniture parts, wooden paneling, plywood, etc. in interior spaces.

Wood lacquer can also be used as a top glossy or matte coat on water-based paints. It meets the requirements of ČSN EN 71-3, part 3: Safety of toys (toy lacquer). Migration of certain elements.

Example of coating procedure:

• Before use, mix the lacquer thoroughly. The ambient temperature during application must be between 15 °C and 25 °C.
• The wood surface for coating must be free of all dirt, dust, and old non-adhering coatings. Resinous spots must be washed with thinner and the surface carefully sanded with sandpaper P80-150, with any dirt created during sanding removed. For absorbent substrates, it is recommended to prime with a lacquer diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio.
• After 2 hours of drying, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper P220-400 and apply two to three coats of undiluted lacquer at approximately 4-hour intervals. The finished coat is dust-dry within 4 hours and reaches its final hardness after 48 hours.

Handling wood lacquer:

When working, observe basic hygiene rules. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, and drinking water. Keep out of reach of children. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice. The product is treated with a biocide.

Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.
