Lazurol S1033 is intended for preventive chemical surface protection of wood and materials based on it against fungal attacks, wood-staining and wood-damaging fungi, and wood-destroying insects. It is used under oil-based, synthetic or water-dilutable coatings. Wood treated with Lazurolem S1033 can be installed in interiors (risk classes 1 and 2 according to ČSN EN 335-1, 2, 3) and exteriors (risk class 3 according to ČSN EN 335-1, 2, 3) of buildings.
The product is registered in the database of biocidal preparations of the Ministry of Health.
Synthetic fungicidal impregnator, preventive protection of wood under subsequent coating systems, especially in exteriors. It is used under oil-based, synthetic, or water-dilutable coatings. Type designation according to ČSN 49 0600-1: FB, B, P, IP, 1, 2, 3, S.
Examples of use - garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages, wooden houses, windows, doors, penetration of wooden floors. Use the product safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g. by washing with BALTECH C6000 solvent. The quality of wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood surface treatment and also the overall durability of the coating system
DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 for cleaning tools. The varnish is not diluted; it is already ready for use.
Theoretical coverage:
6 - 10 m2/1 liter for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
WORKING PROCEDURE:
LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033 is applied after thorough mixing on dry, non-condensed wood, free of resin exudates, at a temperature of 10 to 25 °C. No dilution is necessary.
Recommended consumption: a) for protection of wood in usage classes 1 and 2 independently as an impregnating agent 2x coat with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 150 ml/m2,
b) for protection of wood in usage classes 1 and 2 under glazing and covering coating systems 1x coat with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 100 ml/m2,
c) for protection of wood in usage class 3 under glazing and covering coating systems 2x coat with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 150 ml/m2.
The biocidal effect occurs after the coating has dried – then the treated wood can be further processed. LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033 is intended solely for biocidal protection of wood; to ensure additional decorative properties and protection of wood against the weather, it is necessary to apply additional suitable coatings. The recommended interval for re-coating the impregnation base is at least 24 hours, a maximum of 14 days.
