Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-film wood stain T083 cherry, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-film wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, summer houses and wooden cottages, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and highlights its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. The shade T000 - natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, summer houses and wooden cottages, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with increased resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, for example by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish as well as the longevity of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be soaked with a suitable fungicidal primer that ensures protection against molds, fungi, and insects, for example with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be soaked with clear wood stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The clear primer ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of the coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then can the soaking stain be applied. In renovation coatings, the wood must be free from old non-adhering layers, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To enhance the wood grain uniformly, it is advisable to wipe the unabsorbed lacquer off with a dry brush or cloth 10 to 15 minutes after application.

For large areas, always use material from the same production batch. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test application before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted if a claim is made regarding the test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be topcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be re-coated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, wood shavings, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
