Lazurol S1033 is intended for the preventive chemical surface protection of wood and materials based on it against attack by fungi, wood-staining and wood-destroying fungi, and wood-destroying insects. It is used under oil-based, synthetic or water-dilutable coatings. Wood treated with Lazurolem S1033 can be installed indoors (hazard classes 1 and 2 according to ČSN EN 335-1, 2, 3) and outdoors (hazard class 3 according to ČSN EN 335 - 1, 2, 3) of buildings.
The product is registered in the database of biocidal products of the Ministry of Health.
Synthetic fungicidal impregnant, preventive wood protection under subsequent coating systems, especially outdoors. It is used under oil-based, synthetic or water-dilutable coatings. Type designation according to ČSN 49 0600-1: FB, B, P, IP, 1, 2, 3, S.
Usage examples - garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, penetration of wooden floors. Use the product safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g. by washing with nitro thinner BALTECH C6000. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall longevity of the coating system.
DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 for cleaning tools. The varnish is not diluted, it is already ready for use.
Theoretical coverage:
6 - 10 m2/1 liter per one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 is applied after thorough mixing to dry, dew-free wood, free of resin exudates, at a temperature of 10 to 25 °C. It is not necessary to dilute.
Recommended consumption: a) for wood protection in use class 1 and 2 independently as an impregnant 2x application with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 150 ml/m2,
b) for wood protection in use class 1 and 2 under glazing and covering coating systems 1x application with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 100 ml/m2,
c) for wood protection in use class 3 under glazing and covering coating systems 2x application with a brush or dipping with a minimum consumption of 150 ml/m2.
The biocidal effect occurs after the coating has dried – then the treated wood can be further processed. LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 is intended only for biocidal protection of wood; to ensure other decorative properties and protect the wood from weathering, it is necessary to apply other suitable coatings. The recommended interval for re-coating the impregnating base is at least 24 hours and a maximum of 14 days.
You might find it useful to have covering material, such as paper adhesive tape or covering film, and possibly sanding papers. Don't forget about brushes and rollers.
