DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for food contact. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resilient and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water as set forth by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid version for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product marketed complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old paints, and grease. New metallic surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be consolidated with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and this in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat undiluted in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, it is recommended to protect it with an appropriate impregnation with biocidal effects to a depth. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of penetrating agent and subsequently the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
In normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical attention. Recommendations: Follow principles of personal hygiene while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container at least until the date stated on the lid.
