DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0110 light gray, 0.3 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based coating for construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, plasterboard. It complies with the surface treatment standard for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, stipulated by Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., in valid wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure product conformity with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when toning outside the manufacturer’s premises.

Working Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers from older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 coats of anti-corrosion primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the wood’s absorbency. Then carry out the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood to depth with suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 coats of penetrating agent and subsequently apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and Hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with plenty of water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its usable properties in the original unopened package for at least until the date marked on the cap/lid.
