DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0110 light gray, 0.3 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coating building elements and structures made of wood, metal, masonry, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to UV exposure and weathering; they are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the intended conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of test reports when tinting outside the manufacturer’s premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of the anti-corrosion primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For exterior wood, it is recommended to protect to a depth with a suitable biocide wood preservative. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of a primer and then the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
