DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0110 light gray, 0.3 kg

Water-dilutable top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is used for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, and roofing templates made of galvanized steel, aluminum, selected types of plastic, laminate, drywall, or ceramic tiles with a silane additive. It meets the requirements of the standard for the surface treatment of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and complies with food contact standards. The resulting coating offers excellent durability, does not chalk, does not become brittle due to weather conditions and UV radiation, and reliably withstands common household cleaning agents. The treated surface exhibits extreme mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under intended use conditions and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for food and drinking water contact, established by MZ ČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when toning outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS METAL 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 coats. For exterior wood, we recommend protecting to depth with suitable primers with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1-2 coats of primer and then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of wood and metal paint:

Under normal use, situations arising that require immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendation: Adhere to personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with flowing water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains useful properties in its unopened original packaging for at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
