DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, and galvanized roof tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the surface treatment standard for products and toys for children from 0-3 years old (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show long durability in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set out in Decree MZČR No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and essential requirements. The validity of the certificates is not guaranteed during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Work procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of contaminants, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and this in 1-2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. Wood in outdoor applications is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. The protection of mineral substrates should be done with a primer in 1-2 layers and then with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum application and drying temperature is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of wood and metal paint:
In normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene practices while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the lid/cap.
