DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-based paint intended for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheets and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, or drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatment of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is approved for contact with food. The coating film exhibits high resistance, does not chalk or become brittle under UV radiation and weather influence, and withstands household cleaning agents. Treated surfaces feature extreme mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and complies with hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water as stipulated by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white bases. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be primed with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, it is recommended to protect it deeply with a suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. The protection of mineral substrates should be performed with 1–2 layers of a primer and subsequently with the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
