The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adherent layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION BASE or DENAS METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protection to depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, provide a coat in 1–2 layers with a penetrating agent and then finish with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
