DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0100 white, 10 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-soluble paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing plates, aluminum, some types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long lifespan in interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market conforms to the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's facility.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosion primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on wood absorbency. Then carry out the top coating with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protection to depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by coating them with 1–2 layers of a penetrating agent followed by the top covering paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance is required. Recommendations: Maintain personal hygiene while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in its original unopened packaging for at least up to the date indicated on the cap/lid.
