DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0660 ochre, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-soluble paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with silane additive, drywall. It meets the surface finish standard for products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings exhibit excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and demonstrate a long lifespan indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation no. 86/2011 Coll., annex no. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as defined by Notification of the Ministry of Health no. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure compliance of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1; then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first equalize with DENAS ON WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C, and the air humidity must be up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not arise. Recommendation: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with running water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened package for a minimum up to the date indicated on the lid.
