DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0660 ochre, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-thinnable paint for coating building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the requirements of the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is also suitable for contact with food. The applied coat boasts excellent resistance, does not chalk or become brittle under weather conditions and UV radiation, and reliably withstands common household cleaning agents. The painted surface offers exceptional mechanical durability and ensures long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets health requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets health requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as determined by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of approvals when tinting outside the manufacturer's facility.

Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anti-corrosion primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2 in 1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 coats. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coating with undiluted paint in 1–2 coats. Wood in exterior applications is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done with a coating in 1–2 layers of a penetrating agent and subsequently with the top cover paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
