DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal and concrete, 0911 silver, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and constructions made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for food contact. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning products. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METAL, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL topcoat in 1-2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, and this in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the topcoat with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protection to a depth with a suitable preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coating in 1-2 layers of a primer and then with the topcoat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and atmospheric humidity up to 70%.
