
DENAS UNIVERSAL MATT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with added silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatment of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as specified in the Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorption of the wood. Then perform the top coating with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, it is recommended to protect with a suitable deep-penetrating agent with biocidal properties. Protect mineral substrates by coating with 1–2 layers of a penetration agent and subsequently apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

In normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
