DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0100 white, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic coverings with the addition of silane, gypsum board. It complies with the surface treatment standard for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning products. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and show a long service life in both indoor and outdoor settings.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of attestations when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, non-adherent layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For wood in outdoor use, we recommend protection to a depth with a suitable impregnation with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers, followed by the top coating with DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum application and drying temperature is +10 °C and relative humidity is up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be required. Recommendation: When working, observe the principles of personal hygiene. Ensure proper ventilation at the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date specified on the cap/lid.
